— Overview —
What It Is
PRP microneedling combines two treatments in a single visit. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentrated source of growth factors derived from a small sample of your own blood, and microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin that support collagen renewal. Applying PRP during the microneedling session allows those growth factors to be delivered into the treated surface rather than sitting on top of it. Because the plasma is derived from your own blood, the treatment begins with a blood draw performed by your provider.
— The Experience —
How It Works
- 01
Blood Draw
A small sample of blood is drawn by your provider, similar to routine bloodwork.
- 02
In-House Processing
The sample is processed through a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich plasma rich in growth factors.
- 03
Microneedling Pass
Controlled micro-channels are created across the treatment area at a depth selected for your skin.
- 04
PRP Application
The prepared plasma is applied to the treated surface during and immediately after the microneedling pass.
- 05
Gradual Renewal
Improvements develop over the following weeks as the skin responds to collagen induction and growth-factor stimulation.
— Candidacy —
Who It's For
Adults concerned with skin texture, tone, enlarged pores, or acne scarring who prefer a natural, biology-based approach. A consultation determines candidacy based on your skin, expectations, and medical history, including any conditions or medications affecting blood draw or healing.
— Aftercare & Results —
What to Expect After
Redness and a warm, tight sensation similar to a mild sunburn are common for one to three days, and pinpoint bruising at the draw site can occur. Gentle skincare, no active ingredients for several days, and daily sun protection support comfortable recovery. Results develop gradually over several weeks; a series of sessions is commonly recommended.
