Topical numbing cream is applied for 15–20 minutes to keep you comfortable.

3. Filler Placement
Filler is placed in the tear trough area in controlled volumes by a licensed medical provider with advanced training in aesthetic medicine, under the medical oversight of the Medical Director. Placement itself takes about 20 to 40 minutes.
4. Post-Treatment Care & Follow-Up
Detailed aftercare instructions are provided. Swelling is expected and can continue to settle after your planned review near two weeks. Further treatment requires clinical assessment; do not wait for the review to report symptoms.

How long does swelling last?
Swelling varies and may continue beyond the planned review. Follow the care team's written aftercare instructions. Seek medical attention immediately for unusual or increasing pain or skin that becomes white, gray, blue, or mottled, and alert our team immediately. Any vision change requires emergency assessment; call 9-1-1 for sudden vision change or stroke symptoms. New painful, warm, red swelling or nodules need prompt assessment even weeks, months, or years later. Do not massage, press, or attempt to dissolve a lump yourself.
Am I a good candidate for tear trough filler?
Not everyone is a candidate. Anatomical factors, skin thickness, and severity of hollowing determine candidacy. A consultation at our Chicago Loop location is required.
Will it look natural?
With proper technique and conservative volumes, yes. Our approach prioritizes subtle, refreshed enhancement—not overfilled or obvious results.
Can filler fix my dark circles?
If dark circles are caused by shadowing from hollowing, filler can help significantly. If caused by true pigmentation, filler won't address that—other treatments may be better.
What if I don't like the results?
