Hyaluronic acid filler placed at the chin adds projection and definition where the chin is recessed, improving the profile as a whole, because chin projection and jaw definition read as one continuous line. Filler is placed in small, controlled deposits along the mandibular border and around the angle of the jaw, mapped to your anatomy, and the plan can lean sharper and more angular or softer and more refined depending on your goals.

What to Expect After
Pre-Care
- Avoid blood-thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 7 days prior if medically safe
- No alcohol 24 hours before treatment; consider Arnica supplement to minimize bruising
Post-Care
Expect swelling for 3-7 days. Ice as needed day 1. Avoid strenuous exercise, heat exposure, and manipulation of area for 24-48 hours. Sleep elevated first night.
Seek medical attention immediately for unusual or increasing pain or skin that becomes white, gray, blue, or mottled, and alert our team immediately. Any vision change requires emergency assessment; call 9-1-1 for sudden vision change or stroke symptoms. New painful, warm, red swelling or nodules need prompt assessment even weeks, months, or years later. Do not massage, press, or attempt to dissolve a lump yourself.
