What to know
- Name back, chest and abdomen explicitly.
- Confirm adjacent areas and legs separately.
- Preserve the original coverage of purchased packages.

Cutera Xeo+
Xeo+ is the multi-application laser and light platform in our practice. Its handpieces use different light sources. A consultation identifies the treatment and handpiece appropriate to the concern being discussed.
Laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) are different technologies. Owning a platform does not mean every application is suitable for every person.

Read the combination literally
When discussing a back, chest and abdomen option, ask the team to confirm each named area and its boundaries. Nearby regions such as shoulders, upper arms or neck should be addressed explicitly. An area that is not named should not be assumed to be included.
Legs are a separate coverage question. Ask whether they require their own appointment and which leg areas that option includes. Before booking, use the current catalog and staff confirmation to verify the available service name, rather than assuming that an upper-body description includes the entire body.

Match the appointment to the record
Ask whether the current booking is a combined service or a set of separately selected areas. Clarify the reserved time and what happens if your requested coverage differs from the listed option. A clear answer prevents a broad label from hiding an important scheduling difference.
If you have already purchased a package, provide its original name or receipt through the practice's normal booking process. Past purchases retain their recorded coverage; a new public description should not silently substitute a different service. Staff can explain how an existing benefit maps to a future visit.

Keep the clinical goal realistic
The AAD describes laser hair-removal planning as dependent on the area, hair characteristics, skin coloring and other individual factors. A larger combination does not create a standard result or treatment course. Ask what long-term hair reduction could mean for the specific areas being assessed.
Also discuss relevant risks, including burns and pigment changes, and obtain instructions for the proposed treatment. This article defines useful booking questions; it does not prescribe settings, session counts or a total price. The outcome of consultation should be an accurately named area and an individualized proposal that you can understand before deciding whether to proceed.
