The Favorites Collection: Checking the Three Full-Size Products

The Favorites Collection is a specific three-product SkinMedica set. A collection can be convenient when its contents match what you need, but the box name does not tell you whether it duplicates items already on your shelf.

What to know

  • The set contains three specific full-size products.
  • Check for duplicates before comparing a set with individual purchases.
  • A boxed collection is not an individualized care plan.

Check all three contents

The manufacturer lists TNS Advanced+ Serum at 1 fl oz, HA5 Hydra Collagen Hydrator with Vegan Collagen at 1.7 fl oz, and Instant Bright Eye Cream at 0.5 fl oz. These are three full-size products.

The set therefore contains a serum, a hydrator and an eye cream. It is not a box of three versions of the same product. Each item retains its own ingredient information and directions.

Count the items you would actually use

Compare the contents one by one with your current routine. Mark each as something you already own, something specifically recommended or something you have not discussed. That simple inventory is more useful than deciding from the collection's name alone.

If you already have one or two of the items, consider when they would need replacing. A set can create a second bottle of a product that is still mostly full, while leaving a different routine question unanswered.

Avoid turning a bundle into a personal regimen

A manufacturer grouping explains what is sold together. It does not replace a conversation about which steps make sense for your routine or instructions given around a recent treatment.

Keep the individual names available when asking questions. Saying you use The Favorites Collection may be less informative than naming the serum, hydrator and eye cream separately, particularly if you use only some of the contents.

Compare the set with individual choices

Chicago Medspa's catalog lists products individually so you can review identities and current availability. When comparing a collection with individual purchases, use the current catalog and the exact package contents rather than a remembered promotion.

A complimentary skin and facial consultation can help clarify which products are being considered and why. There is no obligation to purchase the complete collection, and the consultation itself is separate from a retail order.
